Ignite Merseyside | September 2016

September Ignite was amazing. The first of the new academic year, and the start of a number of exciting projects. Ignite Chester begins January 2017, and this month we saw the launch of Gravity & Grace the new apparel range from Ignite.

To introduce the range, Luke spoke on what Gravity and Grace means for us today. Gravity is the force that attracts a body towards the centre of the earth, or any other physical body that has mass. Grace is the free unmerited favour that pulls us towards God. Without gravity, the world could not be. Without grace, we could not be.

2 corinthians 12v9. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Gods’ grace is received and not earned. We cannot obtain Gods’ grace through any good works, nor do we lose his grace when we are weak. No matter the situations we’re in, the things that we have done, or how far we fall from God, His grace will always pull us back to him.

God takes us at our worst, and He gives us His best. Grace. He gave his one and only son so that we could receive his grace. This is how much God loves us. When we believe we unlock the grace that is received. His grace is for everyone.

Hope to see you all at October Ignite!
